Has been great watching indeed. One thing I’m not sure we’ve touched on here or on SSP is the fact these are balcony-less tower builds which we rarely see in ottawa - despite the debatable merits of balconies for the majority of units/people as we currently see in the market.

Wonder if we’ll see some of the Ottawa developers follow suit to cut down and build and maintenance costs.

Tangentially related, it will be interesting to see how quickly claridge proceeds with the tower build next door for the phase 2 now they are wrapping up Breezehill and phase 1.

it's also a huge help when trying to achieve aggressive energy/sustainability targets, which this project is. balconies are huge thermal bridges. you can mediate this through construction detailing like thermally broken balconies but this adds $$$.

we are already seeing it manifest in projects but expect a lot less window wall/curtain wall and balconies in the years ahead.

Love how much cadmium red is on there sitting above the black glass. I just noticed we've hit the 3rd color gradient on the north side. I remember how concerned we all were how quickly they ditched the red on that side. Great choice to randomize it.

Took a pic from the Queensway at St. Laurent on Saturday. Good impact on the skyline (left) creating a valley between the Lyon wall and LeBreton.

Bonus from Scott outside the Braumeister Bierhalle.

Drove by it yesterday, they look so great. It's breathtaking to see how impactful they are but the build overall is just chef's kiss. I love these towers! They really remind me when I got to visit the red tower in The Hague.
