The insider trading in Trump admin is a hell of a profitable enterprise! Their trade volumes are nearing a $Billion an insider trade at this point. I wish I had a billion dollars and loaded dice to gamble with...

Traders place large US$950 million bet on oil price falling hours ahead of ceasefire

These people are doing this because they think they can get away with it. If Democrats take office and don't prosecute every last one of these criminals, none of this gets fixed. Ford letting Nixon off the hook is what led to Trump. All of these criminal grifters need to face justice. Make an example out of them.

Is he going to bomb Greenland after he gets bored of Iran (any minute now)?
He had Mark Rutte at the White House for 2.5 hours today, supposedly to discuss US leaving NATO (which he can't do for many reasons). He may have dusted off ye olde Greenland invasion plans so that NATO kicks him out of the alliance instead.
I'm not dumping you, you're dumping me!

Given how restless Trump's own base got after his threat of "civilization will die" and prominent MAGA names openly calling for his removal, any attempt to leave NATO (even though he can't) might break the dam. While there are certainly full fledged MAGA idiots in Congress, most of them aren't stupid and they know leaving NATO would end the United States' international power forever. I could see that leading to impeachment, if not removal via the 25th Amendment.

Either way, we're just barely past year 1, Trump is not going to last an entire term — calling it now.

He'll likely be dead before they get around to impeaching him though...

Keeping mind that in 25A, the power of adverse removal (the 'kick him out' section) rest with the VP and Cabinet, not Congress. That's the cabal of toadies like Hegseth that he appointed.

Also, I'm wondering what "high crime and misdemeanour" he has committed that haven't already been tested. Democrats in the House (where impeachment has to start) seem to be citing actions and statements in the 'war with Iran'. He threatened to do stuff he he didn't do, and the Senate gave him a pass on starting it in the first place.

Over the years, Congress has devolved some of its powers, like tariffs and military deployment, to the President for expediency under the guise of 'national security' or some other condition of urgency. One problem is, those conditions are largely undefined. I think it was a recognition that the checks and balances baked into their system can be really cumbersome. They also assumed that the Oval Office would be occupied by a rational adult.

Not only that, but for the sake of global peace-of-mind and true justice, the Dems need to be open to releasing those criminals to the ICC.

I'm not exactly sure how you think the Democrats have any weight here.
