I REALLY wish that they had just ripped the bandaid and done 117-124 and be done in two years instead of 3+

Whikwentowin renewal on the heals of this will be a lot. 107ave from groat to 116st is getting renewal soon too. 124th from jasper to 111ave needs love at some points as well.
But oh man, in ~5 years this whole area will be so good for the next 20+ years.

I’m not sure about “the next 20+ years”. By the time the last pieces get done the first ones will need to be redone…

I believe 117 to 124 st is going to be done in 2 years - this year and next.

According to their online March 2026 project update "Phase 2 construction remains on track to be completed over three years (2025-27), with winter pauses each year to minimize traffic impacts.
So this year and next to do 117-124 St.

Utility work has already started between 121 St and 124 St as of this morning
