    I think Alvar made a good point. It makes a lot of sense to say influx immigrants drove the rent up, but i am hardpressed to believe they have immediate influence on the price of the new homes.

    True of False? A Tridel agent told me last Saturday that the 1 Bloor project has been cancelled because they cannot get the permit from City. All the money collected as deposit will be refunded. Is this ture? I haven't followed this thread for a while. Could someone help to clarify?

    I couldn't agree with you more. Uptown is definitely the most elegant/sophisticated building in this five-year construction boom, including the high end ones, such as Four Seasons, Shangrila and Riz Carlton. Don't your guys agree?

    question! How many months you have to pay the "rent" before the title transferred? They shouldn't force us to rent from them at a pre-determined high rent price. It doesn't seem to be fair.
