Palma you may want to double check ... I'm 100% confident that this project was NOT stained precast brick panels, but rather the work of conventional bricklayers which I saw in person when these buildings were rising ... and also evident in drum118 photos below:

Glad I moved out of the Metrogate community, can't imagine what traffic nightmare the Village Green Square intersection will be ... it is completely messed up that City Planning would allow 10 highrise condos towers (2 Solaris, 2 Ventus, 2 Avani, 1 Selene, 3 The Kennedys) in a cul-de-sac setting...

Totally agree Ed ... unfortunately Don Mills' harmony will soon be completely ruined by Lanterra when their next towers go up 30+ storeys (Rodeo Drive + 169 Donway) :eek:

I believe they are shoring only for Tower 3 at this time (bldg they were selling?)

At the risk of being shunned, I will say that I like this proposal ... it presents a strong street wall podium with 2 decently sized point towers that are thoughtfully placed to maximize views and sunlight exposure, a big PLUS is the cladding system here is brick (or precast brick) exteriors...

the 3 towers here turned out beautiful ... unfortunately the podium base (what pedestrians see most) is simply butt ugly and was not designed properly

I too like the revised renderings ... but I question the 'fluff' greenery shown in the balcony which is erroneously misleading

Actually it is 1 connected building with 2 elevator cores The shorter white 'building' features 2 signature suites named "gold" and "platinum" with private direct elevator access (in additional to connecting with the tower's elevators) Floorplans...

I was only able to identify the proper site location using the address "2 Elsmere Avenue" shown on the public notice sign above
