Yikes. I should probably expect a similar letter as my confirmed closing date is also Feb 5. Thanks for the info.

I would definitely be interested in a bulk window covering purchase. Maybe we can approach Aleens at Yonge & College. They carry nice stuff, including Hunter Douglas. I priced out a couple of options for my Foglia (roller blinds and cellular). Cellular is more pricey but reportedly has good...

Fantastic news, Casaguy. Any suggestions as to how I might be able to get inside? My PDI's not until Feb 2nd, and I'm dying to take a look.

I just checked with the sales office, and unfortunately, the doors are not part of the kitchen cabinetry. Shucks.

Question for Foglia suite owners... Do you know whether the doors in front of the washer dryer units will be an extension of the kitchen cabinet syle doors? My drawings show the washer & dryer off to the side, along the same wall as the kitchen. They sit in what looks to be like an extension...

Archetype, you might even be able to see the CN tower from your living room, looking south west with your back against your north wall of windows. That's where I plan to put my sofa so I'm hopeful this will be the case. I have a foglia on 41, and have thought about this for the past 3 and a...

Don't they usually close the street for this type of thing and do it on a weekend?

My guess is they'll start moving people in well before the lobby and common areas are complete.

I just received notification of a confirmed closing date of Feb 5. I'm guessing it's pretty final, but I'm not sure.

Agree. I have a very old brochure with a very old rendering where the "hat" is a bit lower and does not extend our over the edge at all. I think the actual hat is a perfect compromise between that and the current renderings. From afar, it tends to look like to extends over the edge more than...

Me too. Isn't it some kind of glass in the scale model? That might not mean much, though, because the front glass appeared frameless in the model. I'm sure the lobby will be spectacular no matter what.

I hate to say it, as I am a buyer in and a lover of CASA, but X is truly spectacular. I chose CASA because of the enormous balconies. For me, 315 sq. ft. of wrap-around extra space will give my unit a very spacious feel. I hope.

That's right. It was short lane that ran off of Hayden street, probably for around 50 feet, and ended up in the pedestrian walkway in Roy Sq.

I agree. I'm rot really complaining, just surprised because I was expecting frameless. That said, the geometric pattern and that grey color could wind up looking spectacular. What a great building.

Steel framework in front of the lobby Has anyone seen the bulky, grey steel framework that's being erected in front of the lobby? Looks like some sort of structure to support the enormous glass facade. I was kind of expecting the glass facade to be frameless, or supported by something less...

Definitely. Even 30 is a high floor for Toronto, and whenever I've been in units that high I've been wowed by the view. The northwest view is relatively open so I think your view will be terrific. Being a bit lower will also give it some interesting depth and perspective. As well, the asian guy...

tomms, dt toronto geek, casaguy... your photos have been incredible. Thank you. I can tell that tomms' internal Foglia shots are from the 40th floor since there's no balcony glass railing hanging down from above, and the 41st floor is the first with no windows or railings. That's my floor. So...

Tomms, thanks for the photos. They're awesome. Nice to know what my view will be like. Casaguy, my unit must be quite close to yours, as I believe that's my view too. Hard to tell the floor, though.
