If you sold it now or next year technically you would pay tax (50% as a rental property) as its not your primary residence. If you moved back in it would have to be for 6 months before you could sell with no tax. Thats how I've interpreted the rules but I could be wrong.

I'm liking it. I think once all the brick is done the front will look great. I'm on the top floor and just got my occupancy pushed back to Oct 9. My math says people would start to move in on the lower floors in the July/August range.

Just got an update pushing my tentative occupancy to August 1, 2013. Still no upgrade / colour meeting.

Does that make sense for them to have that strategy? I'm sure it's a push to get the crane down but once the roof is done they have to commit to an occupancy date. From what I've seen most buildings have 4-5 floors of cladding in at this point.

So I know you can't tell 100% from the pics but is it just me or do the top 2 floors look the exact same height as the floors below? I ask as they're supposed to be 10 foot vs 9 ft. That would be a pretty big screw up.

Any cladding yet? I was by last weekend and it looked like they were getting the east side ready for brickwork. Also there still hasn't been an upgrade / colour meeting yet.

I would have thought so. In addition I had 2 structural things that they signed off on but didn't provide me a price. Both of them they said wait until the upgrade meeting and we'll figure out the total cost. They better start in the next few weeks. Bright side is that there's only ~100 or so...

Wow. Looks like they're on a 1 floor every 2 weeks. Puts them to the top around dec/jan depending on what type of winter we have. Strangely they haven't started the upgrade / colour selections yet.
