Well Corso Italia is getting a Shoppers Drug Mart soon and now has a Starbucks. Many people who are not Ford or Cesar voters are increasingly moving to the area. The future I would argue seems bright.

This development received an appeal and is now going to the OMB. What are your thoughts? As a local I am devastated that someone could appeal a Shoppers Drug Mart from coming to the area. Hearing date at the OMB has not be set yet. Does anyone know how long this will take to sort out?

Yes - That rumour is dead. However, there could be a separate SDM or Rexall or something else going in that site. It apparently will have retail on the main floor. That space is large so expect something exciting.

Im a Corso Italia - Davenport local and I love the fact that its ranked number 20 in this assessment. It really is well deserved PR that the neighbourhood could use. Great value added area.

In this market, anything in the pre-amalgamated city would do just fine. 900K will either get you a nice semi or detach in some neighbourhoods while hardly getting you anything in others.
