So without a doubt this will be taller than prestige most likely by the end of summer at least the crane will be

That upper glass covering the transfer slab just makes this building look a thousand times more finished and we aren't even at a third yet

So not going to lie as the top gets squared off these two look a little bit better still missed the mark by a freaking mile but could be a million times worse

Grade beams are poured separately with the floor being poured the next day why bloorman & Benito are the greatest contributors to this thread Love that I could go back and find this

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

So I can't remember if the beams are poured separately or as part of the main floor anyone remember from last time

The yellow tool you were seeing is a compaction tester there is a steak that is driven into the ground on the side of the machine that registers the density of the ground below

    Toronto Toronto | Y&S Condos | 130.77m | 38s | Tribute | Graziani + Corazza

Something I learned from talking on the sky Tower thread is luffing cranes are much slower than a hammerhead so could have been due to site constraints they needed to use that crane till they reached the podium and could switch to a hammerhead

Looks like one beam left to be tied and then they can start on the floor layout

    Mississauga Toronto | Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

Sorry that was my bad on the context I meant of the box on box but you did answer my question so thank you

    Mississauga Toronto | Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

Is the current tower under construction the taller or shorter one
  13. C

    Toronto Toronto | 50 Scollard | 147.62m | 41s | Lanterra | Foster + Partners

This tower looks twice as tall because of how slim it is absolutely love it

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

I feel like with the way the organization and communication has gone on with this project we will probably find out if we're going to 91 when they pour the 85th floor
  15. C

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Yeah but sky Tower has done about four floors in the time that the mechanical floor is still under construction we're currently at floor 26 here I think and floor 58 at the one so if sky grid doesn't maintain the one floor a week pace it is foreseeable that this building could beat it to 85
  16. C

    Toronto Toronto | The Pemberton | 215.79m | 68s | Pemberton | a—A

So do we want to say which happens first Crane comes down at 11YV or Pemberton hits ground level
  17. C

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

So I may have to eat my words cuz this actually might catch the one
  18. C

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Literally been checking the site everyday waiting for this viewpoint to get posted looks like we will start seeing forming for floor plate soon
  19. C

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

And there are those beautiful hangers RCS has really picked up pace though will be interesting to see what happens when they get to the next mechanical floor
  20. C

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

It would appear that we have completed the pour for the second level of the mechanical floor so we should be seeing them beginning to move mechanical fixtures into place before beginning forming for the next floor then I imagine we will see you pace pick up those sky grid may take abit to get up...
