    I don't understand obsolete lighting. People have been spoiled by led lights to the point changing the bulb is a foreign concept. Buy replacements, or but LED tube lights and ballast by passes and voila, the lights are back on.

    Absolutely... definitely the marble floors... the caution tape on the floor is embarrassing. With the lighting you can dismiss as just a difference in preferences, some vampires like it dim lighting, but that ceiling and floor looks like poor maintenance.

    I'm surprised they didn't wait to fill the river until everything was finished up to the plug. I suspect that either they want to soak the area before spring for the sake of the plantings or there was a concern about a breach. Otherwise I don't understand the timing.

    The province was ready to do it in 2019. The city at the time didn't seem to understand that they had dug themselves into a financial hole and pushed back on it, so the province owns all new lines and infrastructure, but the city still owns the old ones.

    Wasn't VIA recently putting a dummy car at the back of the train due to concerns about the crash worthiness of these aging cars? At some point it would make sense to find a new creative way to give sweeping views of the front and back of the train with a fleet that isn't heavy and ancient.
