Yeah I think they switched the even car markers out for the blue ones when COVID hit. GO hasn’t run odd number length consists for a long time, so theres really no point in changing those ones out

Did another one of these diagrams, this time focusing on the car markers. If you know what these mean they can actually be quite helpful to know where train stops (so you don’t end up running down half the platform if your train is 6 cars long):

Crews could always key out and access the intercom from the lower level. The only coaches that had full door control panels retrofitted downstairs were the Series 4 coaches, and that’s because they were repurposed as accessibility coaches in the mid 90’s-00’s, because they had a panel added...

A bunch of other art displays have popped up in the VIA concourse, all related to Union Station. They built a model of Union, got artifacts from immigrants that used the station in the 1930’s, and there’s going to be an entire one dedicated to the revitalisation project.

Well the air conditioning is siphoned through the coach, though those little vents you see above the lights on every level. I think it’s safe to assume air conditioning was also vented into the cab, but couldn’t be controlled separately from the rest of the coach like what was previously mentioned.

I’m glad some schedules are finally out, some of you may have seen this in the GO electrification thread, but here’s a comparison I made between the 2018 Metrolinx FBC for GO Expansion, and the OnCorr development phase schedules from 2023:

This was only directed at people who don’t work on the trains. Engineers conductors and CSA’s are getting transferred over, but managers, supervisors, and other office workers aren’t, so they were told to apply for the same positions at OnXpress before they’re taken by other people.
