    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

They do, but hardly ever for passenger amenities except in the smallest airports (hence the AIF). Recall that in 2022, Ottawa announced $100 million for cargo and logistics.

ETS Bus and General Transit Improvements

They kinda have on this page https://www.edmonton.ca/ets/maps-routes-schedules-service if you scroll down to the Google map, but it's not nearly as complete as what I believe you're suggesting.

Flair Airlines General Discussion and Updates

Jones has spoken pretty strongly against hubs in the past because they add a lot of complexity and cost for ULCCs

    Edmonton Oilers

Maybe the third time a team leaves Atlanta is how Quebec City can finally get back into the league!

ETS Bus and General Transit Improvements

^ so everyone keep doing their thing and we'll talk and see if we can find small says to improve service. I suppose that's a step in the right direction.

And what is the source of that news you're reading?

    MacEwan University School of Business | ?m | ?s | MacEwan University

Actually, this piece (I won't call it an article or news) is bought by MacEwan. If you look at the top of the page, you'll see the words: This article is Advertised by MacEwan University No journalist was involved in its production, nor was the newsroom.

    Parking, Parking, Parking

This is U-S based, but a good look at surface parking in urban areas. It's based on work by the Parking Reform Network. I wonder how Canadian cities would fare?

    Edmonton's Population

The data are also at what is basically the community league level, so the boundaries might affect the numbers but they are the 'official' count and I know StatsCan does everything it can to capture every resident.
  12. B

    Edmonton's Population

The city has posted a new data tableau which details, neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood, the results of the 2021 census. It shows really interesting information, not just general population numbers and distribution, but also income, housing, immigration and language data.

    Edmonton | Exhibition Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

This appears to be moving forward. On Jan. 17th, the Executive Committee will be asked to approve the sale of the first two parcels of land to a private developer. The parcels are both in the southwest corner of the property closest to Stadium Station. The land is expected to transfer in 2025.

That's too bad. What killed it?

    Edmonton | Valley Line LRT/ Valley Line West | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

Great question! My money would be on improving frequencies and expanding some services. I personally have no problem having users pay a portion of the cost for services, but as a frequent user, I can see the allure of free service.

    Edmonton | Metro Line LRT | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

I wonder if/when ETS will add a line to their station announcements as they have in Seattle and Portland where the announcements alerts passengers "Doors to my left (or right)"

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

It was originally (and I mean way back) planned as a podium for office towers that never materialized.

    Edmonton | Metro Line LRT | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

I grew up right next to Castledowns Rd +153 and though I haven't lived there for a while, I have no real qualms with the design as envisioned. Occasionally, there's traffic but not always. To me, there's no real need to trench or elevate in that particular area.

    Edmonton | Valley Line LRT/ Valley Line West | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

Your experience highlights something that bugged me quite a bit recently (including on the high-floor lines). I find ETS communications are not nearly what they should be. To me, the gold standard is if there's a delay, either the driver or a person in the control centre, comes on the speakers...

    Edmonton Oilers

I remember those days. Made me feel better about the (numerous) goals I let in through the five-hole :D
