The crown of these two buildings (as well as the nearing-completion McMaster grad res) are tall enough to be visible from various parts of the mountain. This is from a friend's balcony on Fennell. @rdaner I think occupancy will begin in May. North tower will rent up first, and south tower...

This was approved by Burlington council at 24 storeys. @Paclo https://www.burlingtontoday.com/local-news/council-gives-green-light-to-cooke-boulevard-development-ahead-of-deadline-8466843

Sorry I'm still catching up on old news here. Is this the phase in which the new Lakeshore elementary school will be located? Will it be in the envelope of the old LCBO building?

@IrishCanadian98 thanks for sharing and welcome to the forum! Nice to see more Burlingtonian photographers join.

    Lincoln Toronto | Hampton Inn Beamsville | ?m | 5s | Hilton | Mataj

A 100-room hotel is planned for 2025 construction start on a vacant site at 4711 Ontario St in Beamsville, near the QEW access ramps (opposite corner of the access ramps from the larger hotel + condo proposal shared in a separate thread last week... This would be closer to the future Go train...

Photo from a friend's balcony. From here you can see that there's a stairway leading to the weird underground level. Not sure why that is, or what the recessed level even is if not semi-recessed residential. Also still not sure why some windows appear bricked over, or what the roof level may...

No news about this project from me. Just a "before" aerial photo of the very large site.

    Hamilton Toronto | Delta Secondary Redevelopment | 50m | 14s | New Horizon | Graziani + Corazza

I haven't heard of any updates to the plans for this one, but I would expect we see a revised proposal that honours the heritage requirements of the existing building. In the meantime, here's a "before" aerial photo.

    Hamilton Toronto | 55 Queenston Road | 22.65m | 6s | CityHousing Hamilton | Toms + McNally

Looks like 5/6 storeys structurally complete and 4 storeys are enclosed already. The first apartment building in real proximity to the future Queenston LRT station.

Photo from the east mountain. At 30 storeys, it's nice that the buildings don't interfere with the view of the top of the escarpment on the other side of the Dundas Valley (needlessly provocative comment fully intentional) :) But also, really nice addition to the skyline that these buildings bring!

    Hamilton Toronto | 282 MacNab Street North | ?m | 10s | Lionheart | KNYMH

Glad to hear affirmation that the project as proposed is not likely financially feasible. These sites need to be zoned for double the height they're currently approved for if Hamilton is serious about zero urban boundary expansions, so I'm content to see these projects stall until a major...

Conditional Site Plan Approval is in place here. That is often the last municipal approval that a developer gets before applying for building permit and starting construction.

Crazy that when these Market St buildings are done and LRT is running 10 years from now, the Hampton Hotel will still be under construction, and the neighbouring apartment tower will have played leapfrog with Good Shepherd Square!
