Forgot these. Bollards set up to, I dunno- protect the trees? It’s funny cuz they almost need some sort of a gate there to keep drivers out of the “official” TTC parking area too. When I was by there today, there was a flatbed truck with drywall… don’t think they were TTC maintenance.

I rode a bike from the streetcar loop all the way east, saw a nice chunky wooden bench for a stretch, but no impediments to vehicles. Could see how someone on the east end might confuse it for a drive way I suppose. Not sure if delivery cars are still parking up in between buildings, but there...

I’d just love to see an audit on a project like this to tell us why it’s taken so long… if there’s similar delay issues we can prevent in the future.

So, you was by the other day when I took this because I’m still trying to figure things out. So parliament slip does its infill, so Queens Quay can extend east- but it hits new Cherry St. and then… are they going to grade this into a more delicate ramp to connect to lake shore? It’s kinda steep...

Just wanted to e CJ I an earlier sentiment. Haven’t been there myself, but from people I’ve spoken to who have- navigating the place is not easy. Stairwells, elevators, parking garages- some combination of those to get to another floor. Anyone else run into this? And is it fixable?

Just curious- when the city approves super-talls in the name of “density” and the “housing crisis”, they ensure those top 40 floors are all 300sq ft studios for $500k, right? 😂

I’ll never forget the joy of stumbling upon and visiting an egg filled nest in the Don, only to discover that they oil the eggs to suffocate baby swans before hatching, because mute swans are an invasive species. That was… a ride.

I could be missing some crucial urban nerd section, but is there anyone out there that collects random historical floorplans of - well, anything in the city? I recently came across floor plans for Honest Ed’s and thought it interesting. Made me wonder about all the old mall floor plans we grew...

I feel like without people occupying the place, there shouldn't be any privacy/spying issues with having a webcam setup. Does anyone do that anymore? I feel like we used to have a whole forum thread on 24/7 construction cams that was somewhat active. Wish they could set something up
