We talk such a big game in this city about rail deck park, air rights, etc. These two neighbouring buildings seem like the perfect opportunity for more development above the rail tracks while also creating some new green space (P.O.P.S.)

such an impressive project but i wonder why/how the shape of the park (rail deck) was defined. the composition of the north/south towers spanning the rail corridor would be more powerful if the park was rectangular. does anyone know why the park was shaped like this?

in this diagram it looks like the Cherry streetcar travels north of King to Queen (along Sumach). is this accurate?
