Like it or not, York Region's transit decisions have long been based on a YSS which goes up to Hwy. 7. There's plans for McNaughton and Wellington, but besides that there's not much point in separating crossings with minimal traffic. Plus two-way service won't be any further north than Wellington, IIRC.

Point taken. That being said, the Broadview section is clearly not scheduled to finish in April, so the options are either the pole changing crew at the TTC's claimed deadline, or another few months of busses.

I thought the current plan was to station crew at Broadview to lower and raise the poles.

Bets on the "late April" date staying in place? One would hope that with COVID-19 going around they could finish the central section soon enough. (Also, any bets on when the Broadview section will be pan-ready?)
