Is the "Future Redevelopment" area along Lake Shore east of Hydro owned by the same developer?

The Mayor's been expressing excitement that 150 units out of the 2600 will be affordable. Does anyone know if those 150 will be rental or simply for sale through something like Habitat? Is there a reputable affordable housing non-profit that's a partner here or is there just a rental tower...

I'm quite entertained that whoever has the house on the corner (far right of Jasonzeds photo) refused to sell to this developer. You just know they were offered crazy money for it. Now they're right across from a Go station in the only detached house for a block around in all directions haha

Interesting! Does the rock structure negate the need for shoring? Aside, it's a wonder that people ever farmed this land!

I'm curious about the vertical black walls being shaped by the digging. Is there some alternative form of shoring from the traditional wood method being used here or what?
