While I'm not a fan of buildings entirely cladded in glass, I do like how buildings like this and CIBC Square simulate variations in color simply from angles and natural light. It's refreshing, especially since the renders didn't really hint at this. Really excited to see this go up!

It's crazy how essentially every notable building in the traditional postcard skyline is going to be covered up. Great visual!

From Yesterday. Seems like there's 5 more floors 'til top out.

The updated design looks more like the older one than it appears - the renderings are in different lighting making the new one look 'cheaper'. The real proof would be in the actual material. The balconies are definitely bolder and whitened (and wider in Sky Tower) making the buildings more...

I believe the colour scheme was chosen for the significance of it to Dr. Lillian McGregor and her clan (whom the park is dedicated to): Source: https://www.toronto.ca/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/9774-dr-lillian-mcgregor-park-public-meeting-2-panels-2017-10-10.pdf

I’m a very longtime lurker on UT. I love seeing building progress pics in the city and absorbing any industry knowledge you all have posted over the years. I’m not much of a contributor, so I’ve never had the urge to create an account. But I had to say….whenever I see Benito’s fabulous shots of...
