Using a screenshot of TwinHuey's drone shot to visualize what I mean, what are the chances they'll widen the road under the train tracks here to permit bike lanes for those trying to head north to Victoria Park station from this development? And if it's not planned for, who would I bug to...

I got a shot recently too showing some of the cladding.

I'm definitely happy for the Ontario Line, but have to doff my hat for the loss of not one, but two of my favourite mountain biking trails here (as well as all the trees and displaced wildlife, etc). 😢

Maybe they should concentrate on making it an entertainment destination that stays open late. Little Canada could be re-homed so a dance club could go in, and the Winners could become a reading lounge/bookstore/board game cafe with some counter seats that overlook the square. I'd be okay with...

    Barrie Collingwood Railway (BCRY)

I know it's probably pie-in-the-sky, but I hope by some miracle I can one day commute from Toronto to Collingwood by rail to go skiing.

You can dislike something even if you are aware of why it happens. But as felix123 has said, we should get back to the subject at hand.

    FYI, there's a thread for that: https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/pape-transit-oriented-community-99-72m-29s-infrastructure-on-svn.36677

$100 is material when you are broke. If a CEO sees fit to accept a raise, the workers should also get one. They also contributed to making that profit for the company. You are not a good shepherd if you don't first take care of your flock and would rather feed the wolves of Wall street.

The Popemobile shield thingy looks like a beetle.

Where are all these public washrooms you speak of? Coffee shop & chain fast food restaurant washrooms don't meet that definition, nor do washrooms in a mall. Toronto could really use more regardless.

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line: Pape Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

I see "existing washrooms" mentioned on the blueprints, but I've never seen these open to the public. Does anyone know if this station will have public washrooms once it's finished? It really irks me that there aren't public washrooms at all stations now, but especially if we're re-doing a station.

Yes, there are precious few affordable spots to get a bird's eye view, so I'm sad to think that might disappear.

Done! Yes, your ideas would be better for sure!

I don't remember a cable-stay design. I thought it was always meant to be low profile since that's a popular spot for taking photos of the city skyline.

The two portions you highlighted here look much better than what currently exists. 😊Of the Logan plans, I could handle #1 or #2, but #3 isn't good. The sharrow section just below the bridge looks like an accident waiting to happen though.😢 (except the added lights which might help)
