While vote splitting is a concern, I also think people should just vote for who they actually want in government and not against who they don't want. Two party systems are toxic and I think Alberta would be better off with a viable 3rd party.

It'll be interesting to see if the Alberta Party will manage to win over some disaffected UCP voters. If I were them I'd be seriously looking at Calgary as a potential place to pick up voters who aren't super keen on either party

I'd say U/D has a lot more going as far as retail and foot traffic, but once west district's main street is more built out it'll be interesting to see how they stack up.

Personally I've used the park and rides for the sole purpose of not having to pay for parking downtown, so charging for that service would 100% stop me from using it. But all that to say, I still think the more inner city park and rides are over built and could easily be made smaller and still...

I'm guessing that the city owns the land next to the LRT, so I suppose that would be the cities jurisdiction. Although, once this is built out I could see the city redeveloping the parking lot.

A part of me is really hoping they do a partial opening of Stoney i.e. the bridge to OBCR. This section seems so close to being done I don't see why they couldn't just open it in phases like the south west ring road.

I actually went to the new farmers market for the first time and I was impressed! I still prefer Crossroads but it's really nice to have a farmer's market in the west. I suspect this will be a real catalyst for Greenwich and maybe even Trinity Hills, I can imagine a lot of people wanting to live...
