Thank you beemicha; glad you liked it, I did take it, and all the rest too. It's tough to take an ordinary picture in Havana, and I consider myself only a level above a holiday snapper. The place is a full of interesting people, buildings and moments.

Then. 1927. 2587 Yonge Street. First time on the internets, this picture. This is UT-er Oldcamera's grandfather's shop. His gramps' shop was across the street from my gramps' laundry at 2616, so they must have at least waved to each other on occasion. How neat is that? :) Thank you...

Right. A search of the Toronto online archive using "annex" brings up many pictures showing the smoking ruins of the Annex building dated May 9, 1977. The Annex was just to the right [south], out-of-picture, on my Then picture.
