I think it's important to note that the developer is requesting to demolish the former Church, but it is a listed heritage property and it is so early in the development process that Heritage staff have not yet provided public comments. City Council and Heritage Staff acted to protect the Church...

Yes! This is one of the ugliest groups of buildings on Bloor. Standing in front of it just a few weeks ago I was wondering how it hadn't been developed yet. So much asphalt.

Why does it appear that the heritage building on Gloucester is being completely destroyed when the plans show it remaining?

Revised plans submitted on April 24th, courtyard and pedestrian connection enlarged, heights adjusted.

Walked by this a few days ago. The area that is surrounded by scaffolding in the photos above now has completed stucco. Other than that it looks pretty similar. How is it possible that this project began over 4 years ago and still isn't complete?
