Absolutely, these back to back, stated townhomes are a great missing middle housing type: dense, low rise and close to transit. I didn't realize the Honda dealership just closed, I remember over 2 years ago being able to see the empty lot behind the Honda dealership from the GO Train.

When will phase 2 begin? I think the site has been vacant for at least 3 years.

It looks like one of the recommendations was to examine building the Queen's Quay East section before Union Station.

That is interesting considering City Council directed staff to oppose the application at LPAT, City Council never approved a settlement offer or demolishing the designated heritage buildings.

Does anyone know if part of the Harbour Street Extension is being constructed at the same time as the first phase of One Yonge? Phase one doesn't have frontage on Lake Shore or Yonge.

Latest submission to the City is for 64 units, up from previous 48 but the design is very similar. Hopefully this will finally get underway shortly!

I think it's the westernmost part of the Housing Now/CreateTO master plan that's in the works.

The proposed building at the southeast of the site is quite a slab.

The property is only about 25m wide, I don't know how they could retain the majority of the heritage building and have a proper tower setback from the adjacent building to the west.
