I agree. Mississauga has made a lot of mistakes with tower in the park, including buildings from the '90s- 2000s on Burnhamthorpe. I believe the York Region Transportation Master Plan includes extending both the Yonge and Spadina lines to Major Mackenzie. In my opinion this is basically a joke for a few reasons.

I thought I saw the TTC area in the architectural plans submitted to the City. Why would there be a delay from the completion of the condo to the opening of the subway entrance? It's my understanding that the Totem Condo subway entrance will be completed at the same time as the building.

I'm not that interested in the condo but can't wait for the project to be completed. A second exit from the platform at Dundas Station is of utmost importance.

Work is progressing on the west portal at Don Mills. I got a photo of what appear to be the permanent concrete barriers and guard rails on the sides of the west portal. In between the guard rails, the concrete track bed has been poured on the eastward descent from what I could see from the bus.

Great density in a location with very good accessibility to downtown. Now if only the Canadian Tire site were redeveloped- it's huge and even closer to the station.

It has just always ended at Keele, since long before the 2000s upgrade. It was intended to be extended to meet the Jane LRT as part of Transit City. Jane LRT is still in the City's long term transit plan, but LRTs are now being built to standard gauge so unless the Jane LRT is built to TTC...
