There is a decent-sized curb on each side of the Spadina ROW, and people (including me on occasion, I admit) cross the ROW between intersections. I believe that the speed of the 510 is limited to 11 km/hr (source) because of ridiculous pedestrian behaviour.

I don't think that there is space on the SW corner for a sidewalk entrance. The sidewalk is pretty narrow and cluttered here.

They (IO) say that they will respect the Queen Conservation District guidelines, and the development of the NE corner will minimize shadowing on Ogden P.S. and its playground. (Ogden P.S. is located just to the NE of the that site on Phoebe St.) We will see I guess... There are still underused...

Bummer! I hoped for something that reflected the red brick buildings in the area. This is so grey and generic. And all the trees are to be lost which breaks the line between the road and sidewalk which runs all the way up the west side of the avenue I think. AmJ
