This is going to be a highly visible tower from multiple vantage points (postcard skyline view, from the central waterfront, from roundhouse park & the CN tower, from the approach on the Gardiner) so I really hope we get some quality architecture here. I know it's been said over and over but...

The point is it compromises the architecture in a big way, but they're allowed to do it so of course they will. Signage permits ought to be more tightly controlled so this crap doesn't happen. London's skyline isn't littered with logos and branding, for instance.
