Will the new building extend as far west as Living Arts Drive? From this photo it looks as if it may not.

I still think 110 townhouses is a big improvement over the approximately 4 houses that previously occupied the site. However with Queenscorp and Village Green projects moving forward at the same intersection retail is desperately needed. Too bad it was cut out of the original proposal.

Part of the old rusting roof structure is still in place under the new glass atrium supporting some signals. There does not appear to have been any progress on it in over a year. Very ugly. Anyone know when they plan to replace it with a new signal structure or tear down the remaining part of...

How did it end up at the OMB if it was already approved by TLAB. I thought TLAB was the only appeal for C of A matters?

Hilarious that some in Brampton and on Council made a big deal about capital/operating costs and ridership, yet it's not listed as a criteria in the report. Guess it's all about a return on investment for developers.

After this application disappeared from the City's website for at least 6 months it's now back on the development applications map as 4-12 storeys. I wonder if it's a different developer now.

So is it 8 storeys now, or does that count the mechanical penthouse?

Saying the design provides protection from the sides is quite a stretch in my opinion. I doubt those tiny side walls will provide any protection.

Documents have been posted. Even though the description says 9 storeys it appears that part of the building is actually 10 storeys because it's on a steep hill.

A step in the right direction for Markham Centre. Despite the significant development activity in recent years the streets still feel deserted. Is there any plan to extend Clegg east of Warden?

All 3 properties included in the application are Listed on the heritage register. They are not however included in the adjacent Harbord Village Heritage District.
