I actually liked The Works burgers. :D The rooftop patio was a good bonus to the establishment as well. And boo on the loss of colours on those buildings.

    Condo-sized/compact washer/dryer options

It would be nice if they made the ceiling traps easier to get to and clean. It's right above the laundry units with very little room to maneuver. In one of my old condo's, there was an option years later to upgrade the ceiling trap to something easier to open and discharge for a couple of...

Yesterday (Monday Oct 11) from Water's Edge Promenade: I have to say that I like the shape and how it sets back multiple times. I think what I don't like is that it's a lot in a small footprint (IMHO), and when you get closer, the materials and details ruin it.

I walked by yesterday at around 4pm, and although it was quite sunny, the courtyard was very dark. I think it would've been better if the courtyard faces West, or maybe even East.

Today (Oct 4th): I find they have the workers do "stuff" but honestly I don't see much change, so I'm not sure if it's legit work, or just "busy" work. :)

So looks like the Ori Pocket Closets are these: https://architizer.com/brands/ori/products/pocket-closet/2628018/. But I've always been a big fan of vertical beds; which Ori also provides: https://blog.oriliving.com/blog/2022/02/ori-design-studio-virtual-tour-the-cloud-bed. I'm sure it's not...

I'd love to see them keep that light purple colour for the exterior. :D

Yeah, the bottom brick part looks great. The top (new) part is complete hot garbage. Disappointing, as I do think it's a welcomed change to the neighbourhood. Edit: It reminds me a lot of The Berczy:

    Toronto International Film Festival

Well some people enjoy bragging about seeing a movie well before the mainstream release :), and there's also the Q&A session at the end. Having said that, I also prefer shows that I would be hard pressed to find in the theatres at all. Unfortunately prices are too outrageous to me - I had...

Yeah it'd be really awesome to have a bridge on the east end as well, especially since it's pedestrian and cyclists only. I'm not sure how practical it'll be considering there's quite a lot of ship traffic through that area though. I haven't used the west end tunnel for a long time, but I...

Condo above mine flooded and has possibly caused damage - should i involve insurance

Have to agree with the bad news. Getting the at-fault owner to pay for your floor replacement is going to be a big onus on yourself to lawyer up, but I really don't know if you will even win. And *no* insurance company will fix the damage considering it happened after you started a contract...

Looks like a lot more pedestrian walking space which is great!

Edge Towers (Solmar) - Real Estate -

I've never had mould and mildew grow on my floors. It's an interesting option; aside from the anti-bacterial benefits (questionable IMHO), it seems like this is an option you would choose for your upstairs neighbour (as saynotofaux mentioned) for your own peace of mind. :)

    St Lawrence Market

Well I can understand that it's hard for the merchants as they are working extra hours now. But hopefully the economics works out to justify it (at least financially).

Ah!, I was in Tadoussac just a couple of months ago for a few hours. Took the free ferry across for the fun of it and it is a nice town. Yeah the rendering is both good and bad; the placeholders are a tad too cartoon-ish giving it an childish feel. I can understand the OP's thoughts that it...
