I personally really hope this gets built as depicted. It’s basically exactly what is needed there. I wish it was partially a hotel too. (I now see it likely is) I think people who don’t live on 104 patronizing the area will be good for retail.

I’m really sad to hear that the portion fronting Jasper Avenue is years away. That MoneyMart/Knoxville’s/Queen (…pizza? Apparently? It’s hand painted over donair) is such a blight. Such a hole in our “Main Street.”

The Starbucks in Canterra Place is closing down :( totally papered over. I hate Starbucks but I will miss that one. It really activated that street corner.
