I was super excited when I saw this, until I realized this was an old proposal being replaced with a bland downgrade. Hopefully a new rendering will come out giving us a better look.
I’ll reserve my judgement until the mesh is on. Personally, I think white mesh against the gray background would look OK, but judging by the rendering it will be a brown mesh. Not sure how that’s gonna look.
I would think that’s the case. The houses are/were in decent shape in a hot rental market. It wouldn’t make sense to tear them down only to let sit empty.
Cutbacks to public service can happen if the NDP went on a hiring spree and voting public wasn’t happy about it. It’s happened before.
Like jwite said, the UCP needs a shakeup and voting them out would send the message that a shakeup is needed.
I remember that. lol. The good thing is Calgary can solve the 'Edmonton habit' , but for Edmontonians there isn't a fix for the 'Calgary habit', it's the way things are going to go.
Quite large for the area, which I’m sure will cause residents to lose it, but IMO this fit in well and will add a lot of residents and help boost the area as a whole.
