    Calgary | Annex | 29.87m | 9s | Minto Group | Nyhoff Architecture

The unit in the photo above is probably not much larger than 200 sq ft maybe 350 sq ft as it looks to have a room off to the left also, but with those large windows the unit will feel roomy for its size.

    Calgary | Courtyard 33 | 21.64m | 6s | RNDSQR | 5468796 Architecture

I must be missing something. I don't see any cladding yet.

What brought you to this site?

I thought everyone here was from SSP, but it seems quite a few (about half) are from other sources.

What brought you to this site?

I'm curious how people came to to this site. Many of us are from SSP originally, but maybe some of the other newer members found this site some other way. For me I was along time SSP member.

    Calgary | Oliver | 121.3m | 35s | Centron | Gibbs Gage

This is what we're referring to. lol. Many of us here used to frequent that site back in the day. Also, welcome!
  6. Just build it

    Calgary | Columbus Court | 14.93m | 5s | NORR

It's turning out .....exactly as expected.

    Calgary | Blume | 48m | 15s | Remington | Systemic Architecture

I'm not an expert, but I would say it is. The type of drill in the pic (caisson driller) is different than the types used for testing.

    Calgary | Unbuilt Projects

Looks to be a concept drawing, but would have looked great if built. Even at a third of the height, still would have looked great.
  10. Just build it

    Calgary | 120 - 17th Ave NW | 20m | 6s | MoDA

Couldn't agree more. I wish we had another 100 of these types. Not exciting, but simple and effective.
  11. Just build it

    Sunalta Heights | 88.39m | 27s | Housing One | S2 Architecture

Glad to see this moving forward. The proximity to the LRT station is a plus, and it'll be nice to see some density making its way west of 14th street.

    Calgary | Esquire | 13.41m | 4s | Truman | S2

I'm happy that Esquire will help fill out University District, but I really hope the next project Truman goes on is either Archer or West 17.

    Calgary | Steps Bridgeland | 18m | 6s | Giustini Development | Sturgess

Bridgeland is kicking ass and taking names. Funny how Phase II of The Bridges sputtered in the beginning and took a long time to get going. Worth the wait.

There often called 'bus traps', though they don't trap buses. Here's an example of one that I used to see cars stuck on all the time.

    Calgary | Uxborough Phase 1 | 45m | 14s | Western Securities | Gibbs Gage

I passed by there today and they are still demolishing buildings. I wonder if they are getting ready for the construction?

    Calgary | The Hub | ?m | 28s | Campus Suites | ARK Inc.

Bingo. Most of the time it's not going to be an issue. The laws need to be established and defined for cases where people are being reckless. Especially flying them near the airport. I see lots of people flying drones around Crescent Hill and East Village and other places that would fall into...

    Calgary | 11th + 11th | 138.07m | 44s | Intergulf | Ramsay Worden

This one is becoming a pleasant surprise.

    General Construction Updates

Everything in the plan looks good. It reminds me of how Bridgeland is turning out with the various types of housing and densities. The challenge as someone mentioned is the way the new neighborhoods integrate with the rest of the city, but that's a whole other situation. Nothing the developer or...
