I don't have high hopes for the trees, but if the beds are permanent, there are other shrubs that do okay in those kinds of beds.

I really hope something comes through for Steps. It would be such a great addition to Bridgeland, and it would get rid of a construction eyesore at the same time.

The rendering looks great. I like the look and feel of this more than I do with Edmonton's ICE district. This has a nicer human scale and feel to it. also the glass walls wold be great in comparison to the windowless aluminum covered Rogers Place. With so many thing s going on at Stampede park...

I'm in agreement that the community has the right to be heard, and in some situations could be a benefit, I only meant that in this case it's mostly a nimby argument, and that common sense would prevail. totally agreeing with you.

Both PP and TR are great locations. I think The Royal has more amenities round it, and is better suited for not having a car. You've got Canadian Tire, Urban Fare, London Drugs, Shoppers', Best Buy and Safeway all within 5 minutes of walking. On top of that, you've got a zillion coffee shops...

I don't care for the materials, but i like the form. I wish Calgary had a few more tall thin boutique buildings.

I wasn't involved in the project, but posted on SSP that I liked it. I don't like it as much anymore, but I think it's decent filler.

I saw it yesterday and was going to take some pics, but not much has changed. The aluminum paneling is mostly up, but covered in sticker coating.
