I haven’t lived in the building, but know someone who lives there. She has said in the past that she likes it. She bought a unit in Park Point, and will be moving there, but it’s not because of problems with Mark.

Here’s mine from this morning..... I wasn’t sure I should post it, it’s kinda lame compared to the other photos posted.

They might be mobilizing today as we speak. There were a couple guys on site just before the noon hour. They were opening the gates to the construction fencing, not sure if anything else was going on.

I love the curved corners, but they could do much better on the materials. This is where the city needs to think outside the box.

Much better results than I expected, and much better than Calgary Economic Development expected. Lets hope momentum continues.

Telus Sky from afar

Another version of Wonderland, where you one can look but can’t touch.

I took a picture of this site over year ago, and it hardly looks different. There was some construction noise and it looked like a couple construction guys on site so there is some activity, albeit, very little.

Right now they look the same height, and Telus Sky still has two more floors to go, so from that angle Telus Sky should look a good bit taller when topped out.

I agree, it looks like crap for the most part. This building could’ve looked much better with as little as an extra 30% more glass and 30% less spandrel. Somebody really dropped the ball.
