    Edmonton | Hat @ Old Strathcona | 66.14m | 20s | Cidex Group

Regardless of what that page is saying, there's no construction taking place on the half of the site where the 2nd and 3rd towers are planned. Maybe the plans were changed but no one on the forum has scoped that out yet so I doubt it.

pretty sure its just one tower and the shorter commercial building

I hope they do a good job of integrating it with the development next to it because there is potential for it to become a great little neighborhood. I just wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibilities that there will be a fence between the two developments.

I was coming to this thread to ask about that. The white wouldn't have been the worst thing considering it would match the TWOSE, but the copper coloured roof should look very sharp.

    Edmonton | Blatchford Development | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

This should hopefully be the year for Blatchford to fully take off, everything that's been built seems to mostly be selling very well, they just need a block or two more to be built and its going to start feeling like a neighborhood and not a construction site

3 levels of underground parking seems like a lot no? Just going off the fact that The Edward only has 2 while being 8 stories higher. Either way this building looks like it could be a perfect fit for the area!

Even downtown proper is like only a 20 minute walk 10 minute bike so the corporate/office jobs are close

Looks like the finishes will be similar to the Hendrix, so hopefully it can come together nicely. Definitely looking like its going to be pretty different from the initial renderings.

    2024 Predictions

Flair(and probably Lynx but I have no experience with them) are incredibly important to have in the market. Even with the "inconvenience" of having to pay for luggage beforehand, flights are like half the price of westjet or AirCanada once everything is paid for. I don't know why but there seems...

    The Parks | 146.91m | 45s | 35s | 13s | Pangman | Hariri Pontarini

I've never had so much anticipation to see the cladding on a building in my life. I'm super curious to see what the exterior is going to end up looking like.

Don't forget that Vancouvers development has the advantage of twice the population of Edmonton. Also it depends on what we want out of our development. A large portion of DT Vancouver's towers are nothing more than assets for investment portfolios and majority of Vancouver residents will only...

The Mercury Block II | Hodgson Schilf Evans

Agreed! If not then they will have essentially moved the problem lot from one side of the street to the other.

The Mercury Block II | Hodgson Schilf Evans

Here's hoping that this one gets building by the spring, the demos left a huge hole in the neighborhood.

If you're talking about the doors on the second floor of the north side I'm pretty sure those would be access doors to a shipping container which indicates more additions still(Shipping containers)

    Edmonton | Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

This building being built on the south side of the epcor tower rather than the north would have done wonders for that intersection

    Edmonton | Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

I can't wait for the biggest "I told you so" when they eventually start building that tower right away at some point in the future 😂

The Mercury Block II | Hodgson Schilf Evans

abandoned and uninhabitable buildings definitely are a different story, but quite often that's not the case, like here for example

The Mercury Block II | Hodgson Schilf Evans

The problem with tearing down the "tired" walk-ups is that half the time the lot sits empty for multiple years before the new construction is started. Fingers crossed that thats not the case here.

    Edmonton | Peak Tower | 99.06m | 23s | Lighthouse HM | Davignon Martin

I was coming back into the city yesterday, and maybe it was just the light from the time of day, but from the south side of the river the building looked like a solid grey structure. The grey they painted the siding and the colour of the windows is so close that from any amount of distance you...
