We'll see what happens with Gehry! That should change up the table top a bit.

lol yeah I mean personally I just interpreted it as the light coming through the units. Not sure this is intentional enough to be called "false advertising" IMO 😂.

The "Yoga" and "Spa" in the windows must be referencing the new "sweat and tonic" location. Can't wait!

Probably easier to do that research somewhere like https://condos.ca/ - they track price/sq ft trends etc.

Stackt Container Market (28 Bathurst St, future park)

This is such a silly and anecdotal statement. They’re not even open past 11pm or before 9am. It’s a huge draw for the neighborhood and there’s nothing else like it in the city. We actually need more spaces like this IMO for people to visit and spend time at.

    Toronto Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

As strange as it sounds, I think that was part of the push back. A lot of the findings from the wider study the city did did suggested that part of the charm and uniqueness of the island is keeping the crowds manageable and leaning into its natural state/environmental biodiversity. The fear is...

This whole debate has been done to death in various threads IMO. I don't think starting with calling a group of people "stans" will yield a productive conversation anyway. Lots of people use the airport. Lots don't. Difference of opinion. I love it, personally.

Seems a bit dramatic. I haven't personally seen a single encampment along the waterfront and the city certainly seems to be taking action against larger encampment activity.

Yes I do, over 12 years 😉. Regardless of your length of time living in the city, I still think it is strange to say that The Well (and every notable development in the neighbourhood) is without merit unless an elevated park is created. At least I think that's what you're trying to state?

For a quick second, I thought this photo was from "The Well" 😅. The curved portions look really nice.

lol yeah, I think you probably are 😂

Are they? It looks like one of the biggest lost opportunities of the city place community to me. Boring, bland, monolithic etc.

    Toronto Toronto | The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

I’d like to see an umbrella that doesn’t let rain fall over the edges 😂. Maybe best just avoid going outside if that’s the desire, haha. In any case, I have to think that the general consensus will be tipped slightly towards impressed vs annoyed by the general public when they see the new canopy 😅.

    Toronto Toronto | The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Well I mean, are you annoyed at your Umbrella when it's raining outside? 😅. I think the intent here was clearly to mesh indoor with outdoor while providing some level of coverage for pedestrians. Personally, I think it's a refreshing change. But there is always the Eaton Centre just down the...

Are you saying the roof itself seems like more of an annoyance? If that's what you mean, I'd have to disagree. It seems poised to become one of the most iconic/photographed "public" spaces in the city. I say "public" because, although this is a private development, it's open to the public as...

    Toronto Toronto | 199 Church | 124.5m | 39s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

You're right, it looks really bad actually. I wonder if they were betting on buildings being erected immediately to each side.

    Toronto Toronto | Bellwoods House | 45.5m | 13s | Republic | Arcadis

This render looks much better IMO. Like the red brick. Hope that the retained house on the corner is actually able to continue to operate as a neighborhood bar/resto.
