I have to say, this one has turned out pretty well. It'll be nice when the construction fencing is gone from this one too.

I'm quite excited about the Canadian Tire. Between that, Best Buy, the London Drugs and the Urban fare residence in that part of the Beltline are going to be well covered.

I don't know what any of these projects are, but I passed by them all the time and I thought it might as well take some pictures. These are all on Center Street between 40th Ave. and 32nd ave.

I would prefer to have it underground, but given the city is only giving us the three choices I'm going with option C

I like how close these townhouses come to the pathway. A nice blend of urbanism at the river.

That's too bad, I was hoping to see those blocks get filled up. I imagine they will eventually just a matter of time.

I remember that design from a long time ago. One tower was 25 floors, and the other was something like 18, if I recall correctly.

Good point Beazley. Those people with ground-floor units facing the laneway won't get what they see in the rendering that's for sure. I wonder if there's a better solution for those units, maybe having a basic nondescript setting at grade but having second floor much nicer or something, or do...

Looking at the comments in the planning commission meetings, there appears to be some opposition but also support. Planning Commission has recommended for approval, so my guess is even with some opposition this will go ahead.
