I agree, looks so much darker in the renderings.... Not surprised though, more blue-green glass for the city is what we need!

I have read the post before, but these panels look like they are glued brick tile and not formed brick or some other time of wall treatment. I'm going by the photos above and not what is necessarily the actual case, since I work in the masonry business and from all the brick walls I've seen in...

Looks like brick tile glued to the cement panel.... Wonder how long before they start falling off !

It had character....so of course it had to be demolished!

Does anyone else think that this price tag for a 6.6km extension to a highway is absolutely outrages! I could understand that if extended north to Hwy#9 but to Major Mackenzie??

Absolutely! If we all recall our CBD back in the 80's and 90's and the variety of colour on our highrises from black to gold and white and granite red, and how great it looked. I don't mind glass towers, even those in the green blue glass.... Buts let's not make that, the majority of what this...

I must say I'm very pleased by the design, just hope that the glass is not the typical blue/green but something more silver....

Wow.... Yes, let's replace all our pre 2000's architecture and make it look like most of the garbage being built today. Disgusting!!

I hope not! These are beautifully simple yet elegant buildings from another time and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them.... I'd even say I prefer them to most of what's being built presently!
