Any updates on the retail leasing here?

Lamb & Fortress- what a combo! Beautiful architecture. It’s unfortunate that it does not look like it will get built.

Urban development is a major issue for the PC party. They understand the value that the development industry brings to the province in jobs and tax revenue.

I just have to LOL when I read comments like this. Do you people actually think a developer can get anywhere in this city without the support of the local councillor or the planning department or the community? Good luck with that.

The only thing exceptional about this too tall tower is how out of place and disturbingly offensive it is to the community it surrounds. Developer should have ponied up for a bigger site on a main street or avenue if they wanted to make a splash in Toronto with their "stararchitect" ( who would...

By the time all these OMB appeals get heard there could easily be a new government that would reinstate the old OMB regime.

Or maybe neither stat is accurate, ya think?

Perhaps if it was street level retail further west on Bloor but multi level luxury retail is a completely untested and unproven concept in this city and we all know the challenges that the retail market in general is facing from all angles today. How can you justify the astronomical land cost...

Only 55% huh? Perhaps the market isn’t as uneducated as I thought it was.

I suppose it depends what area of the Annex you’re referring to Dickie Greenleaf. As an alternative I suggest we move this homeless shelter immediately adjacent to Dickie Greenleaf’a residence. He too has no issue with it.

You obviously live in a utopian world. It doesn’t matter how much money each person has. It’s irrelevsnt to this discussion completely. I live in the real world where govt need tax revenue to fund local services. If you build homeless shelters in affluent areas you risk destroying a lucrative...

I know a couple people who were considering this elegant and striking building for their new home. Needless to see they’re now looking elsewhere.

    Toronto Toronto | 346 Davenport | 36.27m | 9s | Freed | RAW Design

Incorrect, ignorant and just an audaciously stupid comment. I passionately believe that the City of Toronto should prioritize widespread availability of homeless shelters for all those in need of this level of critical social support. Mu point is predicated on locating quasi health...

A good spot for a homeless shelter is beside a hospital obviously. Not in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood where land value is at a premium and luxury condo buyers will get easily spooked.

Finishes look better then I expected. Nice launch. Good luck to all buyers! How much are they asking per square foot?

Exciting architecture is contextual. It adapts to the surroundings. In this node the surroundings are predominantly single family homes that have been repurposed as multiplexes, offices, etc and low rise buildings. I’m sure this competent NYC architectual firm is capable of producing something...

    Toronto Toronto | 64 Prince Arthur | 46.1m | 13s | Forgestone | RAW Design

Actually the tower’s design is suggested by a developer’s marching orders of how much density can you cram into a small site in a mid rise neighbourhood surrounded by single family homes and duplexes to justify what is likely a sky high land cost. Not a water feature in a high value park that...

That cantilever doesn't look safe. The front piece looks like it's going to tip over. Do these guys even know what they're doing? And why haven't they started on the glazing yet? Not even close to nicest building in area. Near the bottom I'd say. e condos is shaping up to be the boldest...

Just a guess but probably going after the money laundering specuvestor crowd who doesn’t mind purchasing from a no name developer who ripped down a heritage building in the middle of the night. By the way this isn’t Yorkville, it’s Yonge and Bloor. Big difference.

I vote allow it, but with respect and fairness to all parties involved. It’s worthwhile and healthy to question the integrity of the proponents of this project seeing as though it will be blanketing one of the busiest intersections in the country with construction, traffic, noise, etc for a...
