    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Rosie DiManno weighs in on Ford Stadium. I agree with her about the naming of public spaces, I can think of much better choices than local do nothing councillors/mayors. "It was as a decent human being that Ford failed too because he was manifestly not the jolly and benign socially awkward...

Unfortunately, Moeser's replacement Jim Hart hasn't impressed me with his vote. WTF is he thinking? Crack-smoking, foul-mouthed, ex-mayors don't deserve things named after them. Why is that so difficult for people to understand?

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

I'm afraid you're right, he'll just find something else to try and stay in the news. Doug isn't a "regular" politician, and needs to be treated accordingly. Hopefully, the gloves are off right from the start. When is Daniel due back from Washington?;)

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

As much as I think it's not appropriate to name anything after Rob, let alone a stadium for kids, maybe it's the easiest way to get Doug to shut up for a few months. He only started this BS to keep his name in the news and couldn't give a shit if Rob is "remembered". As if we could ever forget...

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Exactly. I guess Tory doesn't remember what happened with the "State" funeral for Rob. Nothing screams class like selfies with Rob's casket and his mourners. People like Doug don't have limits so he'll just turn this into an opportunity to try and sell the Fords. Next he'll expect a statue in...

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

I agree with The Torontoist: "Not a statue. Not a stadium. Nope nope nope." "Rob Ford had his constituency, and they supported him passionately. But this should not obscure the fact that he was an awful mayor, and we should keep his time in public office in perspective...

That was my first reaction too. Then I remembered Rob getting elected when most thought he was a joke candidate. I'm not so sure we can trust the voters to do the right thing, Jimmy K. would be even worse than Rob.

I thought the same about Rob and look how that turned out.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

I think they're grooming Mikey to be ready after Tory retires. Doug will try to keep their name in the news until then. Lucky us.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Did he really think that Tory would look the other way? So we have another politician who doesn't like consequences. "Mayor 'knew 100 per cent' that Crisanti supported Ford family, ousted deputy says" "You see the true colours of John Tory now. He knew exactly when he appointed him that he...

The teen years for those two will be challenging for Renata. No parenting skills eventually catches up with you.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Does anyone have a count for Ford Fest? I haven't noticed any numbers mentioned. As for Mammo, he's just doing Mammo, he can't help himself, self-preservation is his only goal. I think it's simply amazing how he keeps getting voted back in. But then again, I had Moeser for decades, so obviously...

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

I was thinking the same thing. I'm impressed, he's still Mr. Milquetoast, but he's improving.

Oops, I guess there are consequences for hanging out with the wrong people: "John Tory strips deputy mayor of title after Doug Ford endorsement" https://www.thestar.com/news/city_hall/2017/09/12/john-torys-deputy-mayor-backs-doug-ford-in-2018-race.html

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Where did I say The Beaverton was "reputable"? It's just giving us a somewhat humorous view of Doug's re-entry into politics. That's all, nothing more than that. And yes, you were ranting.;)
  16. pattycakes

    Rob Ford's Toronto

This pretty much sums it up. The Beaverton is keeping it real. "Doug Ford announces plans to make 2018 fucking unbearable" "The one-term city councillor and former hash dealer outlined his goals of completely fucking ruining the entire next year. These plans include mouthing off on...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

He's more dangerous than Rob because of his own "grave personal short-comings". He's a conceited, self-absorbed, not too bright, rich white guy. The substance abuse problems are yet to be determined.

Great pic: "Q-and-A: Richard Feren, the man behind @DougFrod" “I have a half-dozen photos of Rob and Doug posing with Trump that I will happily pull out when it’s relevant.” http://torontoist.com/2017/09/q-richard-feren-man-behind-dougfrod/

Wow! I knew Doug was an opportunist, but this is really something, even for him. Guess he's been a closet union supporter all along. :) Love the union guys comments. "Doug Ford parade visit in union shirt raises hackles" "Fred Hahn, president of CUPE Ontario, minced no words on his Facebook...
