    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Feeling like it'll be early 2025 as well. Finch West, Hurontario and maybe one GO RER line will all most likely be completed by then and opened before Eglinton which is embarrassing for the crosstown to say the least.

TTC night buses? GO train replacement buses end at like 2-3AM anyway so assuming that 11PM train arrives at latest 1:30AM at Union, they all should be fine. Not to mention the Subway will still run for a short period of time after that too so its not really bad.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

its probably not the density the more it is the 99% free flowing traffic, plus the connections to almost every single GO line and TTC Subway on top of them. Take Bramalea GO for example, if you miss a train heading to Union and have to wait another hour, you might as well just take the 407 GO...

It always felt like they could build bus lanes somewhere to help the Hamilton-Niagara travel. Either on the QEW, one of the service roads, or some of the roads further south. Even if trains are improving, it wouldn't hurt to still build some bus infrastructure as well.

That is such a nice addition to have with more weekday train trips which will help so much more for not only people who wanna take a weekday getaway, but also for residents of Niagara region.

Wouldn't it be best to leave the current peak schedule to where its at now for the West side, as all trains regardless of express/local stop at Clarkson and Oakville anyway. It wouldn't make sense to continue running just Oakville-Union except for the trips that are already implemented into the...

Pretty sure the corridor can handle 15 min Oakville-Oshawa service while also running all the express services during peak. Maybe they pull an UPX and give us 15 min all day 7 day service later this year as there’s clear demand on all sides for it.

    YRT/Viva Construction Thread (Rapidways, Terminals)

This is very informative and will try my best to get to them. Thank you so much.

    YRT/Viva Construction Thread (Rapidways, Terminals)

Wishing that someone at YRT has some sense to start pushing on the Highway 7 western Extension to Highway 50. Or extend Viva Orange there in the meantime, and not just wait on Brampton to go through with the Queen BRT to do it. There’s become so much demand at The Gore Rd the Zum buses get...

If more of this is what we're slowly getting towards, can't wait to see what the September changes will look like this year. It seems that everything that was supposed to happen in the past 3 years will be fully accumulated and come together into this one massive change like anything we haven't...

There's 4 GO routes that serve the transitway now and 2 of them are 24/7. While it will be nice to get the 25 to also head to Kipling, it would be understandable if they didn't. But then again they have 6 GO routes serving Erin Mills Station so anything could happen.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

It always was weird that the 407 GO buses never connected to the Barrie line in any way, but every single other GO line has a connection. Yes there is the Line 1 extension that makes it somewhat easier to get to the nearest point on the Barrie Line which is Downsview Park from 407 Station, but...

    YRT/Viva Construction Thread (Rapidways, Terminals)

Its something that I'll never understand. Give Brampton the same bus lane infrastructure on Queen or Steeles, or Dundas in Mississauga and you'll see they'll run LAPS in comparison. The transitway in Sauga we know it isn't the best use of BRT but they run 10x more frequently than any Viva...

    YRT/Viva Construction Thread (Rapidways, Terminals)

Its a shame that GO buses that run through York Region are way more reliable and convenient for the most part. The routes running up parallel to the Stouffville line stations in Markham see a much better service pattern overall. If one wanted to get from Unionville to Markham Stouffville...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

After having an experience with all 3 detours made to the 21, I can say that it isn't all too bad... if you look at it as a regional thing and don't commute to and from Toronto. The execution to all this was terrible especially on Milton's side. If they left in the old 21B route that went from...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Well it looks like they did something about it and gave us a 10 car train, seen on the 5:51 train to Mount Pleasant. In the morning they were still running 6 cars so its not fully expanded yet but this is the step in the right direction for sure.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

A similar experience for the 6:35 bus from Bramalea to Waterloo. We need more weekend service overall. The amount of bikes I have seen on jointed up on just one side alone per train car has become ridiculous. Increasing the trains from 6 car to 10 car at least would help tremendously...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

The 2023 service changes will most likely hit its peak in September with 505A and 104 likely seeing more of their planned service then, and possibly the full all day return of York U service assuming it won’t be relocated especially if the TTC-GO fare integration happens. They stated that both...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Wishing that 15 min service went all the way up to Mt Joy instead. Its kind of a similar feeling to how Mount Pleasant and DT Brampton won't be getting frequent enough service to help Brampton's transit riders, only this time the Stouffville line is fully owned by ML so it shouldn't be that hard...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Only because of all day hourly service and Express-Local rush hour trains, and now weekend service on top which will drive demand even higher. If you gave that same treatment to Milton, the ridership would probably be insanely off the roof, possibly even surpassing one of the 2 sides to Lakeshore.
