Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

2B would be the best option if you were to believe the original mission of this line, which was to connect NYCC and STC. I am warming up to three, although the western extension should be a part of that as well.

Less riders. If the subway goes straight to STC, then the station needs more development in my mind.

Should phrase that better. I mean if Sheppard McCowan becomes and orphan station due to 2B, who is going to tell the residents condos are coming?

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Rarely disagree with you, but if Concept 3 is chosen, the EELRT will be DOA. Bringing it to Morningside will do nothing since that will be a slower ride downtown or to STC than the subway. It will need a trip generator. Pickering Town Centre makes perfect sense, especially with the transfer...

Just go with 2B. Of course this happened smh. Going out to morningside will force the Eglinton East LRT to Pickering Town Centre. Also, who is going to explain to the residents of Sheppard/McCowan that condos will be coming in full force to justify the density if 2B was built?

Agreed for now, we needed a better design for the outside elements.

@BloorMan great shots. You can feel the presence of the building even though it is not done at this time.

This is partially right. This plan has been in the works for a while. But of course, it was rejected for the Dundas West Queen Pape plan the first time. It's telling Metrolinx lobbied to switch to this rather than just use the city plans.

Agreed 100 percent, especially Don Mills and Finch, would make it one of the better-used routes right off the bat.

So politics then. I hope phase 2 becomes public in the next year. And the western half (Exhibition to Pearson or Mount Dennis depending who you talk to) is also brought up. We should be pushing as many riders off Yonge-University as possible.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

57 Midland needs a lot more support honestly.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I wonder when we'll see studies on Kipling, Islington, Warden, Kennedy, Markham etc to see which North-South roads need rapid transit. I think maybe all of them need BRT.

    TTC: Jane (LRT) RapidTO

    It's a more functional solution.

    TTC: Jane (LRT) RapidTO

Running the Ontario Line up Jane would save money and get people downtown faster, that's what I mean.
