It could replace VIVA Yonge altogether if the line were further extended to the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket.

Would the bought off Bombardier create new streetcars that look like the current streetcars, even though of course the wheels would have to be customized for Toronto tracks.

North of the extension perhaps the VIVA bus can one day be replaced with LRT, with underground sections where the street it too narrow if need be.

Maybe even PRT pods to get to Ontario Place and back.

Yes during rush hour there are only so many saviour trains that can be dispatched to Bloor Yonge which will only get increasingly worse when Eglinton opens and the extension afterwards.

If no one gets a seat south of Steeles they may have to short turn trains

They should at least have roughed in stations for those that weren’t picked, and come up with a better name than Bridge.

If any stations are incomplete it could still open but skip over those stations in the mean time.

Perhaps they could remove the RT tracks and run busses on the right of way with some widening here and there.

When they have to run shuttle busses they can run them on the tracks.

It could veer east north of Sheppard to connect directly with Seneca and go up the 404 and have a station at McNicoll where all those office towers are.
