One of its strengths is that the Canada Line carries more people than Lakeshore East.

Perhaps they could build new tracks for VIA along the waterfront.

There’s also the prospect that the Ontario Line could be extended north west to Jane Station particularly if GO RER is successful which would make extending it to Dundas West or Long Branch redundant. And plus tunneling through the park is a lot easier and less disruptive.

Would the South Kingsway residents object to LRT in the middle of their road.

And transit geeks will be standing alongside watching: This stretch of tracks will be put to the test later this spring when six light-rail vehicles will make their debut along the eastern portion of the alignment for vehicle testing. LINK

And hopefully the Eglinton West signs on the platform are replaced with anything but those crappy grey signs with black font.

If Finch is extended eastward I guess Finch West will change its name also.

I forgot, is East Harbour still intended to be a 2nd Financial district with skyscrapers and supertalls.

They have overhead wires.

I take it that the tracks wont remain like that because people could trip over them if they are left like that.

And plus trolley busses can’t pass each other.

Then dont elevate it along Sheppard and rebrand it as an Uptown line that goes all the way to Rouge Hill to provide for an uptown regional rail service.

I saw a couple of electric busses on Dufferin. I guess they will be producing electric artics next.

Exhibition could be the Union Station of the west, or it could be the King/Bathurst station if they add a GO stop there.

Or Bloor Dundas Square after that brown building across the street.

Entertainment District for Queen Spadina, and Fashion District for Bathurst.

It may also get meaningless names when the extension reaches Newmarket Bus Terminal.
