    I think you undersell the benefits of the existing grandstand: - Premium seating venues (Ranahans/Lazy S) - pretty unique design offering a different kind of 'suite' experience...Stampede time it's definitely a more efficient revenue generator than using that same space for individual suites...

    The outer few sections don't really matter. The upper decks of grandstand might give a better view than the highest rows at McMahon Does any Calgary use-case really warrant a purpose built facility?

    Unpopular opinion but I still don't understand the reluctance to reconsider BRT. I hope I'm wrong, but stubbornness for trains is the biggest threat for a boondoggle here. Maybe general transit ridership will recover soon. Or maybe it won't.
