fyi. I'm not sure this is actually a centrecourt development

Did this win the midrise Toronto Urban Design award?

This fight almost seems civil compared to 321 Davenport. Perhaps the developer didn't try for enough density??

You'd think Based on the altamont and keewatin decisions (clearly stating that stacks are permitted in neighbourhoods) that the board would have to approve this one. If for nothing else but consistency.

    1) What % of the ward voted? 2) What % of the total vote went to Perks? 3) What does the answer to #2 represent as a % of his total ward population? You get my point. Regardless of the actual support he does have, my point was that he is a self-interested, arrogant man, and really doesn't...

This rendering looks really lacklustre. Strange and surprising from Sweeny&Co. Interesting little site though. Will be interesting to see if Gord Perks handles this application better than others in his ward. Perks always thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. In reality, he is really just a...

Still no OMB decision? I feel like this project is a textbook example of how challenging it is to develop the "missing middle" style density that the City so desperately wants/promotes. Especially in the yellow/neighbourhood areas. Surprised it hasn't got more attention. Especially w Peter...

Does anyone know where this is at in the rezoning process?

    Toronto Toronto | Keewatin | 14.75m | 4s | Freed | RAW Design

Southern block of stacks approved and northern block has been rejected. Not ideal for the purchasers. Freed will likely cancel all deals and sell site, or sell the 30 units at 40% more than original pricing.

How do developers find architects that do work like this? Looks terrible on so many different levels. We need to strive for more from the development/design community.

Hope so. Who is the developer/owner?

    Toronto Toronto | DUKE Condos | 25.91m | 7s | TAS | BDP Quadrangle

This building looks good. Well done to everyone involved. Not easy to make good design decisions, execute properly, and make any money in the midrise development game.

    Toronto Toronto | 422 Wellington West | 14.33m | 2s | Allied | ERA Architects

Doesn't take too many public consultations or dances with local Councillors/City Planning to get completely dishearten by the process. Especially when a developer is trying to do cool stuff. Having said that...you don't need to mis-quote Brad to make him sound like a complete prick....he does...

    Right scale...wrong architect perhaps?

I wonder what kind of relationship this building will have w Airbnb??? Seems like a prime candidate to become a virtual hotel. Huge investor sales from day one.

    Toronto Toronto | Lawrence Parktown Residences | 35.22m | 9s | Lawrence Parktown Residences | Bortolotto

Sure seems like this is the exact type of project that jennifer keesmaat would support. I guess her planners don't have the backbone to push back against the rich rate payers?

    Toronto Toronto | 383 Sorauren Avenue | 33.83m | 10s | Gairloch | a—A

Funny to see hawc harping on the standard midrise 5.5m sideyard setback again. Especially when RWL has ample setback from their laneway and minimal windows

    Toronto Toronto | Grid Condos | 157.88m | 50s | CentreCourt | IBI Group

I wouldn't wanna have the job of approaching all the buyers/investors and telling them that there unit is gone, or fundamentally changed. At least they most likely aren't end users. Centrecourt could do no wrong before this blunder...I wonder if they'll sell out their next building before zoning...
