According to the planner on the community planning call the site has gotten significantly larger. Architecture was pretty thoughtful and interesting given the constraints of OPA 405. It was also pretty that most of the community wasn’t aware of OPA 405 (city lead) zoning changes and clear that...

This building looks great. So much extra effort, time and complexity going into this design. A treat to watch. Looking forward to seeing the finished product in person. Thanks for posting progress pics.

Apparently the grand opening is this weekend. Got an email on Friday from the sales centre.

    Toronto Toronto | Leaside Common | 29.98m | 9s | Gairloch | BDP Quadrangle

always surprised how the ratepayers and NIMBY folks have no care for what developer is proposing the project and/or the actual design being proposed. All height and density. God forbid an extra floor of desperately needed housing across the street from a new multi billion dollar subway...

Excited to see the details of this project when finished. JCI seems talented.

    Toronto Toronto | 405 Mt Pleasant | 36.74m | 9s | G Architects

I believe Gairloch sold this site last year to a smaller group focusing on assisted living.

    Toronto Toronto | 346 Davenport | 36.27m | 9s | Freed | RAW Design

Great to see Freed still doing these high-design smaller sites. Perhaps not as lucrative for his firm, but great for the city. Also not sure Freed has the manpower (is one still allowed to use this term??ha) or financial strength to execute on the larger multi-phase Master planned developments.

    Toronto Toronto | 10 Prince Arthur | 27.55m | 7s | North Drive | Richard Wengle

Love how North Drive is doing these smaller tricky sites. So good for the city

Does anyone know when this project will open for sales or has it already?

Great to see this breaking ground.

    Toronto Toronto | Leaside Common | 29.98m | 9s | Gairloch | BDP Quadrangle

Great to see thoughtful midrise development like this right beside the new LRT.

    Toronto Toronto | Waterworks Building Redevelopment | 47.55m | 13s | MOD Developments | Diamond Schmitt

This thing is massive. Hope the details turn out well. Will be exciting to see it finish up.

    Toronto Toronto | Craft Residences | 30.67m | 8s | Gairloch | BDP Quadrangle

Great to see this consistent built form typology being proposed (and approved) up and down Dundas.

    Toronto Toronto | 655 Queen West | 34.2m | 9s | Trinity Group | Teeple Architects

Great corner for some density. I'm seeing some 383 Sorauren/aA lines and details slapped on top of a regular looking structure.

    Toronto Toronto | Craft Residences | 30.67m | 8s | Gairloch | BDP Quadrangle

Agreed! A friend went to the community meeting and said that Quadrangle is working for Gairloch on this one.

    Toronto Toronto | Junction Point | 27.6m | 8s | Gairloch | a—A

Retail would be nice...but not sure the classic "nail salon at the bottom of a condo" look would really be ideal while everyone waits for the retail demand to catch up.

Not digging all the different types of brick. Too much going on.

    Toronto Toronto | Junction House | 40.23m | 9s | Slate | superkül

Does anyone know when this one will be breaking ground?
