North York has a little of this with the Sheppard Centre. There used to be a connection between the Madison Centre and Federal Government building up there as well. Not sure if it still exists. The same at North York Centre subway and at Finch.
Well I was exaggerating somewhat. Of course one person doesn't. But it can certainly add up. Wrigley closing doesn't impact me directly but it will affect Toronto and the Province and as such will impact me.
And yet we ended up with a mess of local roads that don't connect due to landowners subdividing willy nilly. Quite strange. They obviously never planned for a metropolis here.
I meant that both projects should be built at the same time. Yonge to 7 and the DRL from downtown to at least Danforth. That way the extension to Richmond Hill will open around the same time as the DRL and won't overburden the Yonge line.
The subway extension to Highway 7 is certainly needed to build the connected network the Province is pushing for. It makes perfect sense. They should try to do the DRL and Richmond Hill extension at the same time.
