So I went down here yesterday and it turns out that Certus is developing all three of these older buildings into boutique office, restaurants and cafes. The corner will be called 'Culinary Corner'. Great re-use and addition to 14th St / Marda Loop / Mount Royal.

Arlington Street Investments have sold their building/development project on the SE corner of 17th Ave & 14th Street. Thank god are ASI are generally a value engineered garbage developer who’s end product looks nothing like the proposed design. Bar is pretty low in Calgary though.

These units are going to have some of the best downtown views in the city.

This has now been approved. Eagle Crest appear to have started their other Bankview project (19th Ave) so this may not start until that one is complete unless they are now large enough to handle several projects at once. We will know soon..

Looks like the developer of this one, Trocan, are bankrupt. Several of their sites are judicial sale.

It's the temporary plywood in place of windows. With the rental supply so dire, maybe they can give a discount it folks are willing to rent with some plywood window panes...

I believe that it still is both EagleCrest as developer and FAAS as designer. I have not seen a sale.

This is regarding Eagle Crest' development / FAAS designer project at 2318 15th SW. It's been called both Versant and Bankview 2310. Does anyone know what 'In Circulation' means? This was previously 'Approved' which I thought was the final stage of a permit application...

Looks like Arlington Street Investments is shedding some assets (thank god). Carrying cost for some of their empty buildings on 17th Ave must be huge. Hopefully an actual real developer buys some of these...

There is a development sign up at 25th Ave & 15th Street in Bankview. Entire street of original brick homes soon to be knocked down for most likely a condo building. Very surprising choice for a developer to buy up an entire street like this as all are very well kept owner occupied (non-rentals)...

It's the material that is the problem. It is cheap and looks cheap. A higher quality material and this would be a 10/10.

This issue pales in comparison to other issues in this city however I would like the new mayor, council and CPS to come down hard on shitty graffiti. Over the last few years shitty graffiti and vandalism has really brought down the inner city. Not sure what the solution is but would love some...

This building screams cheap. Everything from the residential grade white acrylic windows, the spandrel and the metal cladding. Right across from ASI's office too. Scared for the other 17th Ave ASI projects now.
