    During the recission period we negotiated with the builder to allow us to lease it out at a one time $500 fee. You can try to amend the contract but some builders are too busy to even care at this late in the game. Goodluck

    I don't think he saved much because he could have at least got $15000 more then what we paid for. Luckily I have a great agent. There are pros and cons for using the flat fee listings, but this will leave the negotiation process up to you.

    You make it sound like he/she wants to occupy it. If I had a choice I wouldn't move in until the place is actually registered or better yet they finish the amenities. Unfortunately we can't and for this reason some people rent out their units during this period.
