    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Highways following streets in Old Toronto were always maintained by Toronto or Metro before, regardless of them being numbered.

The province is going to take over the DVP and the Gardiner https://www.cp24.com/news/historic-new-deal-ontario-agrees-to-take-over-gardiner-expressway-and-dvp-1.6662380 This will take some time getting used to:

Roads: Ambassador & Gordie Howe Bridges

There's no notable stretch of road between the bridge and the customs plazas on either side though. But I still don't think a number is needed in any case.

Roads: Ambassador & Gordie Howe Bridges

Not really surprising considering the American obsession with border security. Edit: Added 'surprising'

    Niagara Falls Toronto | 6609 Stanley Avenue | 254m | 72s | Hariri Pontarini

I just knew this would be a bump after seeing those old posts so close to the end.

    Mississauga Toronto | Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

That city also happens to be a suburb within a metropolitan system with a core city and a single transit system, not a suburb in a different county-level tier with a separate transit system.

    Vaughan Toronto | CG Tower | 188.97m | 60s | Cortel Group | BDP Quadrangle

Or even streetlights. Which is odd because the area at large has been built up for decades. It's coming together a lot faster than MCC did, which started 50 years ago. Thank the subway for that.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

I assume they would do that. And hopefully it would lead to people to stop calling Hurontario Hwy. 10 in Mississauga as the continuity would be gone. :D

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

I'm surprised the MTO didn't built a bypass around CV as a precursor for future RIROization instead widened the highway through it.

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

There's a big difference between subway and on-street LRT.

Why is the 403/QEW interchange not a full Interchange?

It does, but The Queensway was Upper Middle Road originally. The QEW was The Middle Road.

Why is the 403/QEW interchange not a full Interchange?

Plymouth Drive and Sheridan Park aren't arterial roads unlike Upper Middle. Queensway actually was a part of Upper Middle, just offset.

    Barrie Collingwood Railway (BCRY)

Part of it has been lifted and has been a rail trail for some time. And since I took this in August in Stayner, the track across the road has been removed:

    Toronto Toronto | Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Not the response I was expecting...are there any of the station box interior itself?

    Toronto Toronto | Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Renforth station box (may be the first-ever posted transit geek shot of it):

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Looks like they're going for traditional-streetcar strung catenary rather than median poles. Sure looks like an old-school streetcar line. Can hardly believe that's actually real, even if its only non-revenue trackage.

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Peel Region isn't like the former Metro Toronto that grew as a defacto single city expanding from downtown Toronto.
